Inguinal hernias occur when tissue protrudes through a weak point or tear in the abdominal wall. The resulting bulge can be painful when you cough, bend over or lift a heavy object. This belt is a supportive undergarment designed to keep the protruding tissue in place and relieve discomfort.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Most hernias are one-sided so you will need to remove the pad on the side not used.
(Some doctors recommend keeping both pads in place so that even pressure is applied to both sides. Consult your doctor for more information.)
Lie down on a bed.
Gently massage the swelling until it retracts back inside the abdominal wall.
Place pressure pad over the affected area.
Do not remove this pad from its pockets.
Secure the waist strap so the fit is firm.
Secure the leg straps and stand up.
Now do final adjustments for maximum comfort.
Make sure the pad(s) stay over the affected area. (We advise to wear belt over an undergarment if possible).
If you experience brace slippage during 'vigorous' excercise, consider a smaller size or use some tape over the top of the support to lock it in place.
This should not be necessary under normal use conditions.
Compression to be firm, yet not too tight so as to restrict circulation.
Always ensure to choose the most suitable support for the specific activity and/or injury you may be experiencing and if unsure always consult a physician.
You should feel firm compression and protection.
Do not apply over open wounds or if you have a susceptibility to dermatitis.
