Bedtime can be an especially difficult time. What makes this cd exceptional in my mind, is not the stories or the music (any story and soothing voice generally pleases most children) but the fact that the speak demonstrates the sounds for "breathe in," as you hear her pull in air through her nose and then she says, "breathe out," and you hear the air come out of her mouth.
We teach kids how to correctly do breathing to aid in relaxation and this mimics what they are taught and they can hear the narrator taking breaths which encourages them to follow along.
This bedtime cd is instructional and tells the child what to do, to help them relax and ultimately aid sleep,
